Importance of the choices we make

An old single man was interviewed by a media why he is still single with his age and he replied "I WANT TO REMAIN WANTING SOMETHING I DO NOT HAVE THAN HAVING SOMETHING I DO NOT WANT." It sounds like fear of risk or being careful for a life long decision. The morale now could be: Choose Your Love & Love Your Choice. The choices are made by you and not anyone else. A good reflecting question would be something like...why do you like what you like or why do you dislike what you do not like because we (the individual) are responsible for the choices we made.

The next follow up question would be "After 10 yeas from now do you want to regret for something you have not done (left out) or you want to remain regretting for something you should have done earlier?" The bottom line is that there is no perfect choice but only better or worse choices...So, choose diligently while looking forward to your future in the things you choose (whether love, career, school etc...) 'cause you will bear the consequences of whatever the result is.
