Event Description

We'll be meeting tonight with a representative from Journey's End Refugee Services to talk about refurbishing old (but not too old!) computer for refugees relocating to Buffalo.  She'll tell us a bit about the work Journey's End does and what we're hoping to accomplish!

Agenda:

1) Chat with Sarah from Journey's End.

2) Discuss what the requirements will be for computers we'll refurbish.

3) We're not going to buy a bunch of copies of Windows, so we'll discuss what version of Linux we should install.

4) This would be an ongoing project, so we'll talk about who's interested in working on this project, and what people are interested in working on.

5) If it's not too late, we'll have 1 or 2 computers to work on!

This will be an ongoing project, so if you can't make it tonight, please let me know if you'd be interested in helping out in the future!
